Why did you start training?
At the time it was fashionable to take a martial art. Thought i would give it a go and ended up enjoying it.

Everyone I train with.
What drives you to keep training?
My next belt and the people I train with
What other sports do you do/have you done?
A wide variety such as Football, badminton, squash, athletics etc.

What age did you start karate?
When I was about 22
What are your future goals and hopes?
To train as long as possible and to get my referees badge
How often do you train?
2 - 3 times a week (about 4 hours)
What challenges have you overcome?
Mainly injuries
What is your favourite kick?
Turn heel kick, it’s so powerful
What is your favourite kata?
Chil Jang
What is your favourite fighting move?
Snap punch, reverse punch, roundhouse or technique kick off the front leg
What is your top tip for others?
Be confident and never give up
What is the best piece of advice you have received?
Train hard grade easy. It’s so true.
