Two of the Arena Academy Referees Steve and Wendy Jowett have both passed the EKF Referee examination paper achieving 94% and 95% respectively which is an excellent result. The husband and wife sat the theory exam at the recent England team selection held in Aldershot. Passing the theory exam however is only part of the requirement to qualify as EKF National Kumite Judge 'B' the first rung of the national referee programme ladder. Steve and Wendy and now looking forward to partaking in the forthcoming English Karate Championships in Shefield
