Black Belt success for Arena Academy

March 2010Gary Last, Daniel Whayman and Nadine Watt achieved a fantastic result for the Arena Academy when all three were awarded their Black Belts on Sunday 28 March in Ipswich and even more impressively they did this at their very first attempt! All three candidates coped well under the pressure of the grading in front of the panel of senior EKKA Dan grades. 

The Black Belt assessment which includes both technical and physical elements is held just three times a year and can only be attempted on recommendation.

On behalf of all Arena Academy members well done to all three of the new Black Belts and best wishes for the future.
