CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL STUDENTS WHO PASSED THEIR GRADING ON SUNDAY 19TH APRIL 2026
Arena Karate – Last Grading of 2025
On 21st December, we held our last grading of the year! Well done to all students for their hard work and achievements.
Merry Christmas to everyone, and we look forward to seeing you all in 2026 for more training, progress, and fun on the mats!
On 13th and 14th December 2025, Arena Karate was honored to be invited to the Open MAAS UK Seminar, hosted by Shihan Kyle Burks of Bushido Ju-Jitsu.
A huge congratulations to Stefanie Barnes, who was awarded the prestigious title of Renshi – meaning “polished teacher” – by Billy Brennan (9th Dan, Grand Master), and presented by Kyle Burks (6th Dan).
The seminar offered a fantastic variety of martial arts, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Ju-Jitsu, Combat Karate, Krav Maga, Kickboxing (taught by our very own Stuart Collier), and Kyujutsu.
We’d like to say a big thank you for the invitation – it was an incredible opportunity to meet new instructors and fellow martial artists, share knowledge, and enjoy two full days of training. Arena Karate had a fantastic time!
On 12th October 2025, a small but determined squad from Arena Karate competed at the 9th Elite Open International Karate Championships. Our team – Esmee, Lacie-Mae, Oliver, Elijah, Lloyd, and Mal – gave their all on a day full of tough competition.
Special congratulations to our medal winners:
Lloyd – Bronze, Male 30+ Years Kata
Lacie-Mae – Silver, Female Kickmaster 12-13 Years
Oliver – Bronze, Male Kickmaster 10-11 Years
Well done to all our students for their focus, determination, and sportsmanship. Every one of them represented Arena Karate with pride.
We finished the day off with a well-deserved Toby Carvery, celebrating a fantastic day of effort, achievement, and fun!
